Advanced Inertial Navigation Systems (INS) for Reliable Navigation in Challenging Operational Environments
DVD2026 is the UK’s biennial defence industry exhibition, sponsored by the National Armaments Director Group (NAD Group) and Army Headquarters.
The event brings together defence industry representatives, delivery teams, and users of land equipment to discuss innovation, capability development, and the future of land warfare.
Held at UTAC Millbrook on 16 and 17 September 2026, DVD2026 will provide a platform for defence organisations to engage with MOD staff, participate in seminars and workshops, and demonstrate solutions for the UK’s armed forces.
The event theme, Connected for Combat – Aligning people, systems and decisions, explores how defence partners can combine experience and expertise to design, deliver, and exploit capabilities required by the British Army.
DVD26 will take place on 16–17 September 2026.
The two-day event will bring together industry, defence delivery teams, and users of land equipment for coordinated engagement through discussions, briefings, demonstrations, and live displays.
DVD2026 will focus on the theme Connected for Combat – Aligning people, systems and decisions, highlighting the importance of integrated organisations, force elements, and decision-making across defence and industry.
Key themes include:
DVD2026 will examine an increasingly integrated operating model under the newly formed NAD Group. Discussions will focus on how the UK’s Land Enterprise can remain agile and prepared for future challenges through direct engagement between defence and industry.
The event will showcase approaches to integrating new technologies, including sensors, software, and integrated systems, to support modern digital frameworks and enhance capability.
DVD2026 will feature a dedicated SME Zone designed to support UK-based start-ups and businesses with fewer than 250 employees. The zone aims to provide a pathway for new suppliers to present innovative concepts and engage with the defence sector.
Army leadership will outline emerging concepts shaped by a future force design model and explore how land system elements can integrate to deliver coherent capability.
The 2026 edition will feature a programme of activities focused on connecting defence organisations, industry partners, and capability users.
The event will include:
The exhibition will provide opportunities for organisations to showcase vehicles, equipment, and services, while engaging with decision-makers and exploring solutions for UK armed forces requirements.
The 2026 exhibition will provide different opportunities for MoD personnel, industry representatives, and other invited visitors.
MoD and NAD Group attendees will gain insight into land equipment developments, market activity, and industry innovation to support capability planning.
Industry participants will have opportunities to engage directly with decision-makers, better understand MOD requirements and procurement processes, and connect with defence stakeholders.
The event will also support networking between organisations involved in the future of land warfare.
